The Blogevolve blogsite was suspended yesterday...
Wednesday New Zealand time: I just went to visit my Blogevolve blogsite and found it was suspended. If this is a permanent situation, then it fills me with a great sense of sadness. Blogevolve has been a great little community for a number of bloggers, some are members of Blogger Party too. It is such an easy site to manage technically; I was considering transfering some pics to Flikr to enable me to download some at Blogevolve. The biggest problem at Blogevolve was a useless and lazy Admin who did not monitor the site or he would have found out the site was being abused by spammers who appeared to overload the site regularly.I can't understand why after all the time spent setting up a site, an admin fails to look after it. After all, there is significant monetary outlay to set up and maintain a site. Spammers may well have ruined this site, in the end. I ask everybody here to be vigilant about possible spammers; I know the user names of some and will publicly condemn them if I see them posting in such a manner here. So in closing today, I sincerely hope that Blogevolve's suspension is only a temporary manisfestation. Postscript Thursday: The site came back to life today; there are many similarities with the period before Blogfeast.com met its demise. In its particular case it's domain name had expired. How extremely amateur!
