The 4000 km taxi ride... A New York taxi driver certainly went the extra mile - 4000km to be exact. Douglas Guldeniz drove a Queens couple all the way to an Arizona retirement home in what may well be the longest taxi ride in the city's history. In doing so he won the Taxi and Limousine Commission's 'Going the Extra Mile' award. Contributor's Note The extra mile!
