Tanning salons can be fatal - melanomas have been linked to their use...
Beware of tanning salons - you may get scorched, burnt and blistered... An Australian woman was scorched in a sunbed and left with burnt and blistered breasts and is cautioning others about using tanning salons. The woman required medical treatment for inflammation and spent many days in pain after only 15 minutes in a tanning session at the salon. The woman from Merivale, but originally from Perth, said after a few hours she felt exhausted - probably due to dehydration. Melanomas have been linked to the use of tanning salons. Check with your doctor before deciding to have a tanning session. Fair skinned people can be at risk. Don't become a cooked lobster!
