Replacing the wheelie bins...
An English council has allegedly spent more than $195,000 replacing their stolen wheelie bins during the past year or so - and claims one turned up in...Bulgaria! The Peterborough Council say they can prove they own the bin in Eastern Europe - a 240 litre green recycling bin with the council's name stencilled on it, was seen near the Black Sea resort of Sunny Beach in Bulgaria. The council claims they have lost over 2000 bins worth $78.00 each. The Bulgarian example has to be the most blatant of all the council claims. Really just a few proverbial bob each!
