I have had a number of blogsites terminate under me...
Within a year I have had four blogsites terminate under me, including Writing Up, Blogfeast and Blogcharm. This is most frustrating and disappointing to say the least. Writing Up had a number of problems for months, including some claims of illegality involving its owner and Admin, John Jonas. I lost my posts because I didn't take action to ensure they were stored elsewhere. Blogfeast, probably one of the best community blogsites I have been associated with terminated because its Admin failed to renegotiate its domain name. Would you believe an owner being so unprofessional and incompetent as that? I expected Blogfeast to resume some time later, but there has been no sign. Yes, I lost my posts because I did not expect or anticipate the demise of Blogfeast. Blogcharm's demise came right out of the blue, although there had been some problems with payments some time before. I lost my posts here too, buta lot of my better ones had already been recycled elsewhere. I am now in the habit of recycling my better posts to my other sites, apart from my day to day chitchat about popular events and happenings. Blogfeast and Writing Up had some good writers of controversial topics at times which resulted in some good threads of comment - the aim and bonus for bloggers. Some of these bloggers can now be found at Blogevolve and Blogger Party.
