If you are over sixty don't worry about it too much, it may just be a normal part of aging, like losing your hearing. What did you say? American researchers have reportedly said in a study that brain structures deterioate in some aging people who are otherwise quite healthy. The researchers at Harvard University are trying to understand the differences of simple age related declines and actual clinical impairment. They took brain scans of 55 adults aged 60 and over, and 38 adults aged 35 and younger. They used an imaging technique called PET to detect the presence of amyloid, a chemical typically associated with Alzheimers disease , to rule out those whose memory declines were diseased related. What they found is that some brain systems become less coordinated with with age. "It looks like it is an effect of normal aging independent of Alzheimer's disease." Professor Randy Bucknor reportedly said. The study was published in the journal NEURON. So don't get too uptight about those car keys, friend. What did you say again? Hello!
