Child decoys used in Iraq war during 2007... Child decoys used in Iraqi suicide bombing during 2007... Has the war in Iraq plummeted to a new low? Children used as decoys in suicide bombing... US commanders in Baghdad are investigating an incident in which two children appear to have been used as decoys to get past an American checkpoint in a car that was then blown up with the pair still inside. This is bloody sickening and a total discredit to any perceived morality in the Shia or any other Iraqi community! Previously such actions would be considered the work of Sunni militias. But the attack was in the mainly Sunni neighbourhood of Adhamiya and killed the children and three bystanders. It apparently came amid concerns that insurgents are adopting headline-grabbing tactics to counter the Baghdad security offensive. If this report is confirmed as being correct,it is believed be the first time children have been used as decoys in suicide bombing in Iraq. However Iraqi police sources have revealed that there have actually been three other incidents in which children and women have been used in such ways.But they, fortunately managed to get our of the cars before they exploded.
