British or American English...
By Peter Petterson
I thought I would write a little note to members here: If when you are reading intel here, and it jars on your mind, think carefully: It may well be that it is real English not the American evolved English that you speak and write in north America. The writer, which may be me, might not be wrong at all! Remember when you thought the only real cars that drove on the road came from Detroit; they may actually come from just about anywhere now. English like cars didn't originate from America. It was brought here and like cars it has evolved. Have a happy day. Kia Ora!

I am still getting use to words that use "s" in lieu of "z", i.e., organise, organize
A happy day is being had but spare a thought for Aussies who have to decipher Kiwi-speak of: "this" being pronounced as "thus" "that" being pronounced as "thet" "fish" being pronounced as "foosh" "chips" being pronounced as "chups".
American is not actually English, no more than say Australian or South African. South Africans have words like lekker, braai and many more that are not real English, but unlike the Americans we still spell correctly. Unlike the English we still speak properly. There is no R in drawing, drawing not drawring OK!
