Australian schoolboy cracked federal computer filter...
After several clicks a 16 year old Melbourne schoolboy cracked the the federal government's $NZ93 million internet porn filter; it took him 30 minutes. The year 10 private school student, named Tom, can deactivate the filter after several clicks, while leaving the software's toolbar icon undeleted, which leads people to believe the filter is still working. Tom is a former cyber bullying victim who fears a computer savvy child could put the bypass on the internet for others to use. He claimed they could get a much better filter made here for a few million dollars than paying overseas companies for an ineffective one.
