A 12 point list for Beijing cabbies in the lead-up to the Olympic Games...
in Beijing have been given a 12 point list for " self improvement" by the city's transport management bureau. No red or long hair, dangling earrings are to be worn. Male drivers will have to have short back and sides. Drivers should be polite, should not spit, smoke or overcharge. They should have told them not to take the long route around town too! That"s common in NZ with our immigrant drivers. Drivers have been told they are "the windows to Beijing's capital". No little red books and the thoughts of Mao these days.
